Hi, I’m Jessica.

I’m a video and audio editor with a background in audio production and a broad range of experience in media and creative work.

My background started in audio production, with training in recording, mixing, Pro Tools, and audio engineering. Since then, my work has grown to include video production and editing, podcasts, production audio, creative content, branding, graphic design, and creative direction.

A lot of my experience has been in church, nonprofit, and small business environments, where creative work often means doing a little bit of everything. I’ve worked on promotional videos, interviews, social content, podcasts, organizational storytelling, live production, branded content, and a variety of other projects from concept through final delivery.

While I’ve worked across a lot of different areas, editing and post-production have become the strongest thread throughout my work. That includes reviewing and organizing footage, creating selects and stringouts, shaping interviews and stories, editing video, cleaning up dialogue, mixing audio, and preparing finished content for delivery.

My audio background also gives me a different perspective on video work. Clean dialogue, thoughtful sound design, music, pacing, and all the small details of post-production are an important part of making a piece feel finished.

Earlier work in graphic design, branding, and creative direction has also shaped the way I approach projects. It means I’m comfortable understanding the larger communication goal while still being happy to spend hours in the details of an edit.

These days, my work is primarily focused on video editing, audio editing, podcasts, and post-production, with production and creative work continuing to be part of the mix.
